Ballet Through Borders 2024

The 2024 Ballet Through Borders project reflected both growth and continuity. Founder Amandia Scotti was nominated twice for the Service Above Self Educational Excellence (SASEE) Award, and the organization was featured in the Lake Oswego Review, helping bring wider attention to the work being done. Community support reached a new high, with over $4,000 raised—our largest fundraising year to date.

That support allowed us to provide the same essential ballet supplies as previous years. We also introduced custom-made skirts created by a local seamstress for each dancer. In addition to camp programming, Ballet Through Borders sponsored five girls for ballet classes throughout the school year. Two dancers who had been sponsored in previous years continued their training and successfully completed their ballet exams, marking an important milestone in their growth.
