Amandia Scotti

Amandia Scotti is the founder of Ballet Through Borders. She is currently a pre-medical student at Duke University, where she conducts clinical research and plans to pursue a career as a surgeon.

Amandia has been dancing for 17 years and trained with a pre-professional dance company for seven years throughout high school. She also enjoys playing the violin and currently teaches violin to young children at Duke University.

Julieta Scotti

Julieta Scotti has been dancing for over 15 years and brings a deep passion for movement and teaching to Ballet Through Borders.

She previously danced with a ballet company and now trains with a contemporary and modern dance company. She is currently a junior in high school, where she enjoys Speech and Debate and DECA.

Marlise, Yolandi, Francien

Marlise and Yolandi are the costume directors, and Francien is the studio owner. Their support has been instrumental to Ballet Through Borders. Through their generosity, creativity, and willingness to share their time, space, and expertise, they helped bring performances to life and ensured that each dancer felt confident and supported. Their tremendous contributions behind the scenes have played a vital role in the growth and success of the organization.

Our young volunteers are an essential part of Ballet Through Borders. Their time, energy, and kindness help create a welcoming and supportive environment for every dancer. From assisting in classes to encouraging the girls each day, their dedication makes a meaningful difference, and we are incredibly grateful for their heart and commitment to the program.
